I'm inexperienced, but have a buddy who's installed some seymour duncan pickups into his guitars who will be helping me do so. I currently have the stock pickup/humbucker that comes with the Solidac installed. Looking at the controls in the back, the current wiring is just a single wire to the switch (or pickup selector, excuse my poor terminology as I'm pretty inexperienced) split from the main shielding, and the main shielding just continues and is soldered to the back of the volume. Installing the Invader just so it can be used in bridge position, do I solder and insulate the red and white together, solder the green and bare to ground, and then the black to my pickup selector/switch? And is the ground the single bare wire that runs along the side of my volume pot? I'm sure these questions sound pretty dumb but I have to learn somehow and obviously wish to do it right. Help would be much appreciated.
