Installing new pick ups!

Hello! I just recently got the Pegasus/sentient set and I'm trying to install them. So far, I have sound coming out of it, but I can't toggle through the pick ups! My toggle switch was working just fine before. The guitar I have them in is also fairly new. Just a few months old.

I have a LP styled guitar one 1 volume, 1 tone, and a three way selector toggle switch.

I have the green and bare wires of both pick ups soldered onto the base of the volume pot, and I have both black wires soldered onto the first lug.

What have I done wrong here?

Can we see a few pictures? What diagram are you using?

A photo would really help, because it sounds like you wired both pickups directly to the volume pot?
Each pickup should be wired to the two sides of the switch, and then the output wire from the switch goes to the volume pot. No wire from either pickup should go directly to the volume pot.

Sounds like you put your hots where you thought the grounds went???
