Instructional DVD's and VHS for drumming?

Hi guys,

I have a friend, he always wanted to be a drummer, and his wife just bought him his first set.

I am wondering if anyone here knows a good instructional DVD or VHS for learning drums, especially rock.

I've seen parts of the Jeff Porcaro VHS on youtube, but that guy is a virtuoso and I believe that my friend would benefit from something more introductory.
