Instrumental: prog/metal/rock

Re: Instrumental: prog/metal/rock

kickass, i really started to dig it around 3:15.. cool bridge

i like your rhythm work better than your leads but I think when you learn to balance "technically" well played shreds with more interesting phrasing you will turn some heads. The tones are a bit digital "ozzy" headphone rock type sounds that would get lost mixed in with a full band complement but still worth the effort.

I think a lot of us have these type of super guitar jam recordings from college too :) mine were all done on a porta-one I had to save my money for months for hahahaa!

Hi!
It's the first Mixdown, recorded with my Strat and Jazz-Bass using Guitar Rig 4 :)

Hope you enjoy it! please comment.

There was bass?
Was not audible to me.

I liked your clean tones, and your heavy rhythm tone. Lead tones were a bit flat, and processed.

I thought it was great playing, not typical aimless shredding.
Overall, great ideas presented.

Nice work.

+1 to what most of what bigheadood said. It sounds great but I didn't really hear any bass at all.

the ambient guitar tones are pretty awesome to my ears around 250 when theystart to break up, solo is pretty solid
