I recently had a late 60s tube head revised. When I tested it with the tech, I got the impression that the tremolo didn't always come on straight away when I pressed on the footpedal, but after a few tries it seemed to be OK.
However, I tried to use it in rehearsal this week and I couldn't get it to activate ; or rather, when I pressed on the pedal, the little orange light inside the amp started flashing (the optical sensor, right ?), which means the circuit was engaged, but absolutely nothing happened to the sound. I played with the speed and depth controls to no avail. Can anyone suggest where the problem might lie ? Thanks.
