so i have a sd invader in my strat for some time now. it does the job pretty well, except i have that upper mid fizz. it is not very loud or annoying, but i could do without it. perhaps it is too close to the strings? anyone with similar issues?
None whatsover. My Invaders are quiet, and always sound huge. Dial back the gain on your amp if you haven't aleady. Those pickups push so hard that you don't need to run as much in the preamp.
