Nice choice of track! One of my Maiden faves.

I like the tone for the harmony guitars. I enjoyed listening to it.

Is it because you keep doing all these songs I love, and doing them so brilliantly that it makes me want to destroy you?

I believe so.

Every time you post I nit-pick in my head - "He's cutting those notes off too much, he's not letting that ring, he's playing too fast". Truth is, your playing and the recordings are great. Very nice job on the solos here, although honestly they need more reverb!

You need to write something of your own and let us hear it. :)

I have a pair of originals in my Soundclick page Sultain Shadows and Kobe check them out!!

The reason i dont do much originals is cause i find it boring and hard to do some decent drums with those drum software and i dont have a bass, the bass i used in Kobe was borrowed but my friend isnt usually that nice!

good playing. i'm not too crazy about the tone, but you're locked in pretty tight, especially on those harmonies. good job!:D

Lot of cool sounds there! Too m any different tones for the song - but it's new toy day.

That intro sound was AWESOME except I'd redo it and lower the level. More clean guitar with a hint of that underneath would be killer.

Vocal phrasing at the begining is brilliant man! that and the last solo really stood out to me, great stuff ! I love that song and you did it proud.


where do you get your backing tracks?

If you want any critisism on the sounding like Maiden bit, it would just be to slide some more of the notes and hammer-on more rather than picking every note.
Maybe this is the way you want it to sound though.

Not a bad GT10 sound at all.

I've been practicing that song since saw Machine Head cover it when they opened up for Metallica a few weeks ago. Phil Demmel used a cool flange effect on the intro.

Good job.

+1, play more legato. I don't dig the pick every single note thing, some parts are rushed, and I'm not a fan of your tone. But good effort.
