Iron Maiden - Losfers Words Oldie Cover

Hi to all.

I'm new here and want to share a recording that we did some (recent) time ago.

We recorded some tracks here in my studio just for fun. Me and my band - MASSAU.

Humberto on drums
Leo on bass
Luiz Gustavo (me) on guitars and guitars overdubs

We used one Pearl "i dont know series".

Jazz Bass and Bass Collection plugged into a GK400 in a 4x10.

Ibanez 7Jem DBK with DiMarzios The Breed on Right Channel and a Fernandes '89 Strato with Hot Rails on Bridge on Left Channel for Leads. All solos with JEM DBK. All guitars with POD 2.0 and a Marshall '83 - 5275 Reverb.

We used these mics:

SM 57, 58
AKG 414
Neumann U87, U89 and U47 Fet
Audio Technica AT 4050
EV RE 20

Some Channels were recorded Into a Tascam 1" 16 Tracks using an Tascam M600 console and others in a Nuendo 2.0 using a 02R.

Dude, Iron Maiden is one of my favorite bands of all time and I LOVE powerslave....Losfer Words has always been one of my favorite instrumentals...

you guys did a great job on that..the rythm tones were pretty much dead on..and the lead tone for Adrian's lead was pretty much spot on..

had it all the way down to Steve's slappy bass tone =)

good job!
