Is it possible to make HB's sound like minis?

I am asking this because I am back from tryiing with SC humbuckers like cool rails and DMZ choppers. both are great!!! but they sound clean.
they just don't have that raw attitude of minis.
so before I order a warmoths body with mini routes, is it possible to get that kind of sound with a regular HB?
you know as soon as the routes are done I don't have the ______ ti change the routes.

Unfortunately, not without going to the Custom Shop. I do get good results with a Mini /PAF type (b) in my Epi Alleykat. I use a SM-1 and a PG+ with the PG+ set flush with the mounting ring.

A mini-humbucker would at least fit in a normal-sized humbucker route. You would have to make up special mounting rings.
