Is my LP pup combo unique?

I have a Custom in the bridge & a Custom 5 bridge model in the neck of my Studio. I really like the C5b in the neck! It matches the output of the Custom nicely but is warm, buttery & smooth sounding. The Custom in the bridge just plain rocks! Sounds nice clean too.

I'm a happy camper. Thanks SD!

Could be...but don't put anything past these guys!

I would think that that would be pretty rare . . . but if it works, it works. ;)

Re: Is my LP pup combo unique?

I was just looking at this combo on the website and thought that it would be pretty cool then I came here looking and you already have it. How are the cleans with the C5 in the neck instead of the bridge? Is it punchy or mellow and laid back when playing leads.

Maybe someone would put a Custom on the bridge and CC on the neck position? I'm curious how the CC would sound on the neck position.

Steve Smyth of Testament and Nevermore uses an Invader/CC combo, and sounds godly to my ears.

He's one of the newer dudes, testament is where all the unemployed thrashers go to cut their teeth.
