Did you try ebay? I've seen a bunch on ebay. You can also buy the cover seperate from stew mac and install it yourself.

I dunno about SD's, but I tried changing covers in my Epi pickups and it was a mess... wax going everywhere, ugh


I'd rather get the pickup already with the gold cover. And ebay is really hard for me, I can't seem to find any people that will ship to portugal

Well that's because epi dips too much wax in their pups. All you would have to do is put a bit of wax into the new cover and you're good.

Of course it's easier said than done. You might be able to get a forum bro to buy you one here in the states and then have him/her ship it to you.

Just checked their shipping prices. They're brutal. $30 for anywhere in the world and it still takes 2-3 weeks.

No idea why they said 'free shipping' then. They should have made it more explicit


Well, it's still worth it though. At Musicstore.com it was 120 euro, roughly 160 dollars, shipping not included

I'm local and he's a good guy to do business with.

That said, this eBay seller has the covers for $20US
Putting covers on is really simple... drip a little wax into the top of the cover or even a piece of black electrical tape just between the poles and screws and just press the covers onto the pickup... they'll stay unless you really whack on them.
Best to solder them when you can, but it's very doable.

Personally, I'd get something off here from a forum bro or eBay and add covers.

It does say on the front page of the site that he ships worldwide. I can see how you missed it, though. It doesn't jump right out at you.

For US orders, he ships free for orders over $99. I don't see any info about the rest of the world, but I'd think it depends greatly on where you want the stuff shipped.

Go to the site, click on "Parts", and his phone # is at the top of the page or there's also a link to email him.

Try banjomikez on ebay. He carries every Duncan model in all kinds of crazy colors and covers as well.
I needed a PGb with nickel cover for my Corsair and after nearly laughing in a Guitar Center clerk's face ($150, 8 week wait) I
found banjomikez on Ebay.
The guy has a seriously impressive stock. And Free Shipping!!!!
