I have a Classic series 1x12 cab with a Sheffield in it. I plugged my new Lightning clone into it and it sounds great! I'm building a 2x12 custom cab and am trying to figure out what to load into it. I'm leaning towards a Mojo British series or Hellatone. I'm open to the possibility of mixing speakers like Matchless did in my old DC30. It would be cool to know if the Sheffield is styled after another speaker so that I can figure out if I want to pair it with something.
Is the Peavey Sheffield speaker a clone of some sort?

Interesting. Frankly I expected it to sound like ass. What a pleasant surprise! Until I plugged in the Lightning I'd never used the cab even though I'd owned it for several years. I bought it off a friend to help him out.
