Is the phat cat splittable?

Hi

Is is splittable. Also By itself is it weak enough to match with tele single coils in the bridge?

I am after a bluesy kind of strat tone in the neck, is this a good pup for that. If not what would sound really stratty and good split in the neck or by itself.
Guitar is a alder tele with maple neck, through bridge.

Thanks Dills

It's a single coil pickup so it's not splittable. It is pretty strong and fat-sounding, and not Strat-like at all -- sounds more like a humbucker than some humbuckers do.

I don't know if anyone has tried this BUT what about having a tapped P90. Standard magnet with a standard and "overwound" but not OTT output.
This has me wanting to build another guitar; 25.5" scale Firebird, swamp ash with a maple cap and a Strat hard tail bridge. Finish to be a crimsion dye.

MJ built a tapped P-90 once with several tapps...It seems like a cool idea but would cost quite a bit
