Is the SH-6 the one for me?

I put a thread on a few weeks ago asking for a decent pick up for my ibanez 7 string in the bridge position - on reply said the duncan distorion is the way to go ( i've got a JB Trembucker in my RG550 and want something similar but with a little more gain and plenty mid range) - so i researched the pick up and i'm 99% about going for it - any last minute suggestions or should i stop asking and buy the thing?

Cheers

Buy it! The DD is one the best Duncan has made. Make sure to add a coil split, the DD is one of the best sounding split pups out there.

The distortion is great, esspecially detuned. I just wish it had more bass. (that's what graphic eqs are for!) A B sounds excellent with it.

I have a sh-6 too and like it very much in bridge position. For my taste it does not lack bass.

I used to have one in one of my main guitars, and never thought it lacked in that department, either...
