Hi everyone. I own the old Seymour Duncan Doubleback. It's perfect. Problem is I can't find another one and I would like a 2nd for my other rig. I've called and emailed SD but had no response on either. I'd really like to know if the Visegrip is a 1:1 copy of the doubleback. The tricky part here is I'd hate for SD to be criticized for just shoving an old pedal into a new box to sell to the public. I see Fender get put down all the time because their "New guitars" haven't changed since 1954 (lets not get into that, I stay away from people like that LOL). For me I would be completely happy hearing the Visegrip produces the same compression as the doubleback. As I said, the doubleback is perfect me, I just dont have any local....or distant...store to try the VG and DB side-by-side. I find the the doubleback to be subtle yet extremeloy effective in producing a compressed sound that is very musical and dynamic feeling.....even without engaging the doubleback know. If anybody knows about the guts and sound of the visegrip please let me know. If a SD employee wants to PM with info I can keep to myself then feel free
