Is there a GOOD WHAMMY STYLE PEDAL!!!!???

I bought a Whammy "reissue" recently and it is cool but totally ruins my tone when its off and doesn't track very well etc., not at all like the old Whammy i got to play recently than made me want one. I know i could get some kind of true bypass loop and all that but still the sound isnt right. There are THOUSANDS of good boutique Tubescreamer and Fuzzface clones, but is THERE ANYONE SMART ENOUGH TO CLONE A WH1 WHAMMY OR ANYTHING LIKE THAT! You would think theres someone who has realized the KILLING they would make if they could make a pedal that sounded that good... Please tell me one exists!

Im taking that as a no? Is there some kind of reason no one is ripping off the original Whammy?

No one is ripping it off because the IVL algorithms are proprietary. Your best bet is to look for a Digitech DHP/IPS-33 rack unit, which is basically the same thing as the original whammy...or so I've heard.
