Not sure how, just a matter of the right caps and resistors, but with passive electronics, it would never add mids, only remove them.

Yeah, I should have clarified that. I am after more mids. It's an SG bridge, and I'd like to do it without adding output or sacrificing bottom. Oh yeah, and it should make me a sandwich too!!!

you'd need some custom electronics.

A band pass filter with a double layer pot. First layer acts as gain control for an op-amp, second layer controls your filter, clipping off high/low.

Good for a weekend project. Let us know what your results are like

Aren't there active mid-boost circuits you can add to a guitar, that run on an 9V battery? EMG makes one, but I don't know if you can use it with passive pickups.

Actually, I think Jesse's first suggestion is more of a pure mid boost/cut. From what I understand, this is more like what Clapton used in his Strat to boost mids.
