Is there any 6V6 that's similar to the Tung Sol but with a bit more bite?

I like the Tung Sol 6V6's creamy tone better than the Ruby and JJ variants. However, I feel I am missing a little bit of bite and open-ness. Is there anything that's a little more bitey than the TS that's not as extreme as either the Ruby of JJ? Electro Harmonix? Mullard?

I was going to say Ruby or JJ, but the EH and Sovtek are tight and bright as well.

TS is considered cream of the crop for new 6v6. plain jane Electro-Harmonix are also good and not as creamy as the Tung Sol in my experience. So maybe right up your alley.

Yeah, the Tung Sol does sound nice. It's the one that's tamed the scoopiness and chirpy attack in my amp the best, but I wouldn't mind a little bit more high-mid bite.

Where can I find the Sovtek 6V6? Are they a NOS kinda deal?
