The fact that it's been modded and the apperance is shot, I'd say little investment/resale value. It very well may sound great, check it out and if it rips, retolex it in the color of your choice. ;)

hot rodded by whom is the question. some yahoo with a radio shack soldering iron and a poster of evh on his basement wall or a real repair technician? ah, what I'm I talking about - the transformer alone would probably rake in $125 (or more?)

man I wish I had the funds, I would love to retolex it and flip it, but I know Id end up keeping it if if if ....man I need to get some work

i paid $500canadian for a 1981/82 era 2204 800 in the same contition... but i never got the cab... my head had the covering peeled off.... it had a gain boost mod... i think mine needs a recap now as well....

Shipping the head would be easy, but you would have to unload the cab to make the weight requirements.

I been bustin my cranium tryin to figure out how to snag this up,and make a few bucks off it,,,but like I said I cant see letting a JCM800 go after i get my hands on it
