perhaps i'm wrong, but i think the headstock should say 'custom telecaster'
and the neckplate should have muddy waters sig stamped in.

Says right in the listing that it's a Partscaster:

This is a guitar that I made by combining two of my favorite guitars. I had a TL52 and a TL50. Both from the late eighties. I loved the neck on the 52, it had a smooth soft vee, but wanted a muddy waters guitar (this was 10 years before the reissues). So, I took the TL50 CAR body and added all the 52's hardware and neck. The only part I added that was not original was the pickguard. I still have the black 52 guard if you want it.
