Is this a real SD pickup?

I'm wondering if this is a real seymour duncan pickup, I dont see seymour duncan written on the front like every other one ive seen.

Since the '59s are "vintage replica" type pickups, Seymour left the name off the front to keep it looking old school. I think you can get them with the name if you want though. The 59 I used to have didn't have the name.

"Standard production" 59's do not have the Logo on them. You if want one with the logo you can go through a dealer and order one "floor Custom".

If that is a Duncan in the box it is infact legit.

I would make him take a picture of the bottom of the pickup so you can see the logo and the sticker to ID it.

yea, i got a '59B 2 conductor vintage braid..it's got no logo, but i also got a
'59N 4-conductor and it does have the SD logo on the front..either way..great pickups:P yea what idsnowdog said...get him 2 take a pic of he bottom
