I'm thinking about getting a 2x10 bluesbreaker type cab built for the chassis of my Peavey Classic 20. I really like that amp, but it's not very loud (15 watts through one 10" speaker in a tiny little cab), and I confess that it doesn't look that cool to be playing in front of a really small amp. So I could take the chassis, and an extra pair of alnico webers that i already have, and turn it into a marshall-y amp. But it's gonna cost like $300 to get the cab made, which is more than I paid for the C20. On the other hand, since I long ago already paid for the C20 and the Webers, I could just look at it as spending $300 to get a really cool amp, which by itself is a good deal. So is this crazy talk or what?
