Is this wiring correct?

Re: Is this wiring correct?

Take the 2 wires, on the volume pot, that aren't ground, and reverse them. Otherwise, with the volume on "zero" you short out the output amp. (An active component.)

On your diagram, thats the left and middle wires of the vol pot.

Re: Is this wiring correct?

In the diagram, you have a yellow line appearing to link two of the switch terminals of the push-pull pot for the neck position pickup. Erase this line in the diagram. Do not make this connection in your circuit.

Re: Is this wiring correct?

Oh, i see u mean where it goes across both the middle/right and the bottom(top)/right of the push pull? my mistake, it's meant only to connect to the bottom of it. thanks, for checking it, if every thing else seems correct im'a get to work, I'll take pictures

Re: Is this wiring correct?

Would it be better to put two battery terminals in here ya think? aside from having a hard time fitting both of them in the housing, one battery should suffice for both pickups I would think ya?

Re: Is this wiring correct?

Yup. I don't know about EMG's, but 3 Active Duncan's pull less than 1 milliamp. I doubt EMG's are much more of an energy hog.

Re: Is this wiring correct?

What are some opinions on having 2 volumes and 1 tone for both? Oppose to two tones and one master volume?

Re: Is this wiring correct?

I prefer two volumes to have more control of the mix when both are on. I tend to set tones nearly the same when they are separate, so a master tone would do fine for me.

Re: Is this wiring correct?

Thats exactly what just came into my mind, tbh.. on these actives the tone pot practially stays off/ completly but having a 0.1 on there just for minor adjustments works for both just fine, so I think thats what ill try to get..I just got it how I wanted it too dagnabit

Re: Is this wiring correct?

on a side note these dual 89s are so high output I have to go to the park to appreciate it fully! *drools* I'd love to hear them on a 30w
