Iso Cab Test

A quick video showing the ISO cab that I started to build a while ago. Finally brought it home from my shop. I'm not totally done with it. Still going to put jacks on the inside and outside for the speaker and mic cables. Still getting some sound bleed through the gap where the cables are being fed through. Also needing to but some foam on the inside for reflections. For this test, I just put a bag of towels in front of the speaker, and a towel over the open back part of the speaker cab.

Peavey Nitro> SD '78> a tad of DD3> OR15> DIY 1x12 convertible back cab> Emi Legend 12" 16ohm> Sennheiser E609> ZOOM H4n(not audible in video)

In case you can't tell, the audio heard right after I'm done playing is through my headphones. Once I realized it, I unplugged them.

Here is the recording through the ZOOM H4n

Re: Iso Cab Test

Nice, I need to build something like this for inside my closet (its about 2.5ft wide by 8 feet long) to get better isolation from the rest of the house
