Hello, so i've installed the hot rodded set into my les paul copy and i found out that the sh4 have a very thin and poor sound (clean even with lot of distortion) that i haven't with my other sh4 equipped guitar,
the volume of the sh4 in my les paul is way weaker than the sh2 (who have a vintage output),
i have tested my electric circuit and all seem well so what it can be ?

(I have tested the mic and it work perfectly so its not the mic itself)

here is a pic of the inside (50' style les paul wiring)

ps: sorry for my poor english, not my native's one

Sounds like it might be a weak solder joint on the ground or maybe at the switch.

Are red and white wire are soldered together and taped off? I don't see the caps for the tonepots.

Send some more clear pics please.
