Jackson DK2??? need help(serial number)

I have the chance to buy a Jackson DK2 EErie Dess Swirl guitar and I have the serial number and want to check to see if it is the real thing, can anyone point me into the right direction on finding info on this guitar...?? ASAP please.

Check Year and location of build, etc....

Yes it has the white line around the neck, sorry new to jackson guitars

I'm gonna go out on a limb here and say that is certainly a DK2. A very nice one at that.

If you're getting that at a nice price, grab it.
The only thing to watch is the pickups. It's hard to tell from your photo - if there's genuine Seymour Duncan's in there it's a newer model and obviously worth a lot more. If they say "Duncan Designed" it's older and not worth quite as much, although still a fantastic guitar.

Hard case too? I'd be all over that thing! (If I didn't already have too many import Jacksons!)

Oh BTW, binding isn't a Jackson only thing. Lots of higher end guitars have binding. Fender strats are probably the only ones that don't bother with such niceties...

I just found out that the guitar has "Duncan Designed" pickups in it and it has chrome hardware, what do think this guitar is worth??? Or is not worth bothering with... Thanks again

It's an older one, from before the 2006 upgrades.

The EDS finish is an upgrade. I'd say with case $300 - $400. Maybe even a little higher.

That looks legit to me I say go for it if the price is right. I just bought a DK2M about a month ago and everything on that guitar looks like mine on the back and the neck plate anyway. Although different Necks and pick up config, here is a pic of mine. BTW I paid $ 700.00 for mine w/case if that helps any.

I had the exact same guitar a few years ago. Paid three something for it, sold it for around four with upgraded pickups. Sweet, sweet guitar that I wish I had back.
