Jackson Kellybird bass

Is it just me or these Jackson basses are incredibly sexy? :scratchch
I've seen them in Thomann for a very cheap price (€385, ~$507), but i amn't sure how this basswood body & soap bars pickups will sound compared to my Jackson concert alder body & PJ set.
any experience? please, chime in.

^ you're right. They have some similarities.

Do you know what? I like the Jackson's shark tooth inlays and the Kellybird doesn't have it. I might order a custom bass :scratchch

I love the Jackson Kelly, I love Firebirds, I love Mockingbirds.

The Kellybird... I don't really love. The Kelly lower bout on the Firebird body looks a little like a T-rex gimpy arm to me, personally.

Personally, I don't like it because of the mix of sharp and round edges, but I can see why other people like it. The finish on the top one looks really nice though.

At first, I thought it was aweful.. Starting to grow on me now.. Seems like it would be difficult to use the knobs with them all being so close together..

I'm just the opposite. When they came out I thought they were cool as hell.

Now... For some reason I'm just really not diggin' em.
