Jackson Professional Dinky - SD Pickup Choices

I've got a Jackson Professional Dinky made in the early 90's that I am going to yank the Jackson pickups and put a JBJ in the bridge and a Screamin Demon in the neck.

The Screamin Demon is a bridge pickup I'm putting in the neck and is an older unbranded version (12BJ), not that it probably matters beyond putting a bridge pickup in the neck position. (I've also got a Pearly Gates bridge pickup in the neck of a Telecaster, and I love it there provided I plug into the low input of my SS amp.) The Demon is currently in the neck of a 90's Korean LP, and it sounds glorious there. I am hoping that it sounds that good or close in the Jackson, even though those guitars are certainly different. I am expecting the JBJ to sound good in the bridge of the Jackson.

What do you guys think? If I don't like the Screamin Demon in the neck of the Jackson, I will probably put a SD Jazz there (neck version). Trying not to put any more dough into this Jackson though.

Go for it. Demon is great pickup in the neck of superstrat too.

Thanks.
Not sure what the Screamin Demon will sound like in the basswoods neck, but looking forward to finding out.

Tried it in alder, basswood, and mahogany body. There's slight tonal difference because of different wood/guitar, but it sounds consistently good.

I like it. Can't wait to hear your demo when you're done!
