Re: jackson replacement neck?

Your going to have to look hard to find an ebony boarded bolt on jackson not many of those have been made. Even the maple boards are really rare but there are a few dinky models that use them so keep an eye out for one of those. If you really want a ebony board you can always pay someone to knock your old board off and install you a new one.

thanks for the advice. i'm actually more interested in the maple than the ebony. i've never owned a guitar with a maple board so i want to try it out.

Warmoth necks won't work, strat sized neck pocket and extended fretboards on 24's, totally different.

There are some cheap knock offs on ebay, but I say stick with a real Jackson neck. The maple boards don't come up much, and when they do they're kinda pricey, but that's probably your best bet.

Your best bet would probably be then not to search for a neck but to just buy a whole guitar and part it out. There were some Dinky's made with maple boards. If you do this and you get one thats double hum let me know and ill buy the body off you (bonus points if its hard tail)
