Jackson RR pickup replacement

Got a MIJ white with black pinstripe jackson coming in.
Already thinking about new pickups, it has stock duncan designed invader style pickups which I know I do not care for.

I have a Jackson DK with I am like 99% sure it has the JB stock and I don't hate it.

My thoughts for replacements are:
jazz or 59 neck then either distortion, custom, custom 5 or JB bridge.

Other ideas are:
dimarzio paf pro neck with super distortion bridge
OR gravity storm neck with super d bridge

Music ranges from pop type stuff to metallica type stuff to all in between.

i had one back in the day with a jb neck and distortion bridge. it was a metal machine! jb in the neck isnt for everyone but the distortion in the bridge was fantastic into my jcm800. i really liked the jb in the neck too for fat solos. the clean sounds werent great from this combo though so might be better to go with a jazz neck for versatility

Although, I am a big fan of getting it first and trying at least for a few days before you finally decide. Sometimes the EQ of a guitar is much different than we thought it would be.

We'll see, I am not a huge fan of them in general but who knows!

Aren't the Duncan Designed pickups that look like Invaders actually wound much closer to the Distortion?

Duncan Distortion bridge would be my first choice

The Distortion and Invader have the same wind, so this seems unlikely.

Tut-tut, Mincer, I thought you knew by now that every SD is just a JB wind* with the other components in it changed!

*: Except perhaps the Custom. That, on the other hand, has a family tree of its own.

It got here yesterday, super cool guitar, he had 11s on it and they are in need of replacement, so I think I will go down to 10s get it setup etc.
