i'm getting a jackson sl1 soloist in the next couple of days,and while i was lookin at it on musiciansfriend.com,i noticed that it has "Clearance" writtin next to it,so iwas wondering,are they clearing it out because they're upgrading the guitar?..should i wait before i get mine?...or what does it mean?

No idea... the SL1 has always been an SL1 spec wise... maybe they're making way for new production color schemes? dunno honestly.
And do yourself and favor and don't buy from musicians friend unless you want to over pay by about $300. Look at the good Jackson dealers such as, The Music Zoo and Matt's Music.

I've seen clearance on any number of USA Jacksons for months now on MF and Music123.
Check ebay man there's a couple nice ones on there for a good price.

If you want a GOOD price, significantly less than what MF or M123 charge, give tommy @ www.themusiczoo.com a call or even better Matt @ www.mattsmusic.com. Please do not post this price anywhere in forums or similar, as this can be construed as a MAP violation and the dealer can literally lose his dealership because of it
Jackson has a MAP policy (Minimum Advertised Price), so you´ll always see the same price posted everywhere on the net
