Last new thread for today.. maybe.. haha
Jackson has some very budget friendly guitars out these days.. I remember back in the 80s when all the good companies (Jackson, charvel, Kramer,BC Rich) started with great guitars and then started selling all kinds of poorly made rubbish and completely tarnished their names and reps. The better thing this time around, is that the quality of product produced by the outsourced companies is MUCH better AND I think the companies are still caring to offer a decent product, as opposed to just having their name on everything.. Ok, to the point..
Jackson has a very affordable soloist out now, the SL3X. I read the specs and know where the corners have been cut, but can anyone tell me if the neck shape and overall feel is still Jackson Soloist? Are they still pretty decent for the dough??
I played one of the models that is like a step or so above this a couple years ago and came away with a favorable impression
