Anyone know where i can get the oversized Jackson strap buttons that they use on some of the current model import Jacksons?
It's hard enough finding Jackson buttons, let alone specifically black ones. They don't appear on eBay much. At the moment there's some 80s ones going & some PS-4 Performer style ones from the 90s, but i'm not sure if either these are exactly the same as the ones that originally came on my guitar & the same as the ones currenly being used on most Japanese import Jacksons. They certaily look the same & look like what i'm after, but based on what one person has told me though, they might be a little wider than the current buttons used on Japanese imports... i don't know. I do know the ones that originally came on my guitar though were pretty big & definitly pretty oversized, with a pretty wide bevel.
I know i can use any & that it really doesn't matter because they're just strap buttons at the end of the day & you can't see them when you put the strap on etc etc... but i'm a bit of glutten for punnishment when it comes to attention to detail & i like the ones that came stock on my guitar, but the stock ones were chrome & i'm after black ones since i already changed all the other hardware to black.
