Nope, Chin Su Gakki, and Grover went over in the early 80s himself to make sure they understood exactly what he wanted... Again, the philosophy is "Hardware can be upgraded, Wood can´t"... that´s why a 1k$ import jackson like an SL-3 still has a POS JT-580LP and Duncan designeds on it, because if it didn´t and had an OFR and Duncans it would be essentially identical to an SL-1 save for the rosewood board and cosmetics... ;)
Ah well that's good to know! Hey check your PMs.

Re: Jackson vs. Ibanez

The SL3 does have Duncans by the way :) The only difference I see is rosewood instead of ebony, JT580 instead of OFR and hotrails instead of stacked singles (I forgot the exact models)
Does anyone know why they're called SHR101 on the Jackson website instead of SHR1 as on the SD websites?

Re: Jackson vs. Ibanez

Well, ok, it has the JB... BUT IIRC the other two are still duncan designed Hotrails, they´re definitely not standard production duncans if the Info in the Jackson site is correct ;)

Re: Jackson vs. Ibanez

Could be, I have no idea about it. If so it's what I wish they did with the DK2 as well grrr...
The Jackson website says Seymour Duncan (R) for both the TB4 and the hotrails so that's why I thought they were SDs and not DDs. And the SD website won't load as of now... meeh
