Jackson wiring help

so I have a Jackson slsmg soloist with a 3 way blade, can anyone point me in the direction of a wiring diagram for this type of switch? im looking for the traditional type of wiring, 1 = bridge bucker, 2 = bridge and neck, 3 = neck

the lug layout looks alot like the fender type switches (7 lugs in a row) but not 100% sure I can use diagrams for those in my jackson

I can try and post photos of the switch if that would help anyone

Re: Jackson wiring help

my switch is very similar to the 3 way blade in that diagram, however the lugs are all in a row on one side of the switch, does that make a difference?

Re: Jackson wiring help

Yes it does, and for some reason, those diagrams are very hard to find, if not impossible, even though they're the most widely used type of switch (since imports power the market).

Best bet is to get a set of jumper clips and clip one end to your pickup leads and touch the other end to the switch tabs in various places until you hear sound.

Just don't solder anything while the guitar's plugged in

if you have eight terminals
you still have two independat sides they are just laid out differently
this site says they are this way

http://www.guitarnucleus.com/wiring.html

my experience with the Ibanez Stock Switches says the common is gonna be
the 4th and the 8th terminals as in the first post
if you have a multimeter then you can sort this out quickly
