Jaguar HH wiring

Re: Jaguar HH wiring

Welcome to the forum.

The short answer to your questions is yes and no - depending on whether your HH Jaguar is a Fender or a Squier.

Re: Jaguar HH wiring

Blacktop or Classic Player Series? One employs a three-way toggle pickup selector switch, the other has the slider switches associated with the original vintage single coil guitar design.

I'm glad your pinpointing with these questions.

Classic....not blacktop...
Thanks again

Re: Jaguar HH wiring

I am trying to decide what - other than colour versus monochrome - is the difference between these two?

AFAIK the '62 was only available for a couple years, had 6 colors available and came with the bridge cover and mute. The Vintage is based on a 1965 model and only has Candy Apple Red and 3-tone Sunburst, if I read thoroughly. Both diagrams show the locking vibrato, but I thought only the '62 that had the locking vibrato? At a glance I'm not seeing a significant wiring difference, though I didn't inspect every component in the drawing closely.
