Hi
Does anyone have a Jazz Bridge in a LP Standard, the reason I ask is that on the SD audio samples it sounds awesome to me, but I don't think Iv'e seen any posts about it. I already have the Neck version.
Cheers

The Jazz is great in a LP. Jolly has clips of it on here somehwere.

Buy one and be in tone heaven!

There was a huge hread on this just a little while ago. It was very convincing...

Yeah, I've got one on the way as a result. If it sucks, I'm holding Jolly, Odie, and GJ personally responsible.

There's a real good defense in Pickup Court: Odie, Jolly and the Gear Ho said it was a good idea!

Re: Jazz bridge in LP

Everyone always forgets that the Jazz Bridge is listed as a progressive pickup, even though they think it might be listed in the vintage section on this site.

LTKojak doesn't the bridge in the neck become more bassey sounding. Just curious.

Yeah, it has a bit more bass than the neck version in the neck but, it isnt overbearing like a 59 can be at times in some axes.

Let me just say... that until I tried the jazz bridge I was seriously in doubt that duncan made a pickup that was right for me. It's godly. Clear as an emg with SOOOO much more mojo and a kickass clean to boot.

For what I play, the Jazz b in neck is the best I've ever had. And teaming it with a C 5 is just tone heaven. At least in my 1967 MIJ Emperor 335 copy.
My next step is going with a Jazz set (Jazz n and Jazz b) for an 3-pickup Epiphone SG Les Paul Custom, in which I've disconnected the middle p'up.
