Jazz/JB combo in a semi hollow?

Semi-hollows tend to be warm, and that's where JB's can run into trouble. But as with LP's, sometimes it works out great. I think there's better choices for a semi-hollow though. For high output a C5 or C8, and for moderate output, any good PAF.

I tried it in a dot studio, jazz was good, JB was awful, A2 pro and Custom 8 are much better.

now if your talking tele with F hole and maple neck JB might work.

I can imagine the Jazz being pretty cool in either position. JB - can't say.

Might be great, might be awful. I'd research quite a bit before doing it. PITA if it is wrong...
