I'm looking for a bridge pickup with a smooth, clean lead tone (a la Slash of Guns & Roses). I'm also looking for a neck pickup suitiable for clean to slightly overdriven blues tones. These pickups seem to fit the bill.
Does anybody use this pickup combination? Are they going to be balanced with each other? Do they work will with coil tapping/splitting (not sure of the correct terminology, but basically turning off one of the coils for single coil sounds).
Any feedback would be most appreciated.
