Im using a jazz in the neck and prail bridge. Perfect on their own thin and quiet in the middle postion. Do i need a phase switch?

Don't need a phase switch. Just reverse the wiring of the Jazz. Instead of green to ground and black hot, black to ground and green will be the hot wire. See if that helps.

Thank you GuitarDoc, I was hoping it was as simple as that. I'm warming up the iron! Cheers man. Mike

By the way, that's an awesome pup combination. Two really great pups that sound great together.

GuitarDoc, yes it is a good combination in my opinion. I have the same combination in a Tokai 335 also. I particularly like the tonal and volume balance they have. I use 3way switches on each pup. Using SD schematics I get parallel, series on both pups, the slug coil of the jazz and the p90 of the prail. Some great 'ombinations in there.

By the way I fitted a CTS push pull for the tone to switch phase. Some of the out of phase combinations sound almost like an acoustic guitar.

Thanks again for your help, gave me a lot of confidence. Mike
