Jazz on a tele? Clips?

I wonder how to do with my Esquire and i want to hear what other people think about playing jazz on a tele/esquire. I only use the bridge pickup (it's an esquire:butkick So i wonder if any of you guys, if you have any spare time can make a clip or two showing how versatile the tele bridge pickup is with the tone knob turn'd down a bit. Just something mellow with chords and smooth slow solo playing.

I think that even by pulling the tone know down, it will be difficult to achieve a "traditional" jazz tone.
