Jazz questions.

Do any of you Jazz users have experience using it coil tapped in the neck positions?

How does it sound?

Can it do a convincing Strat-like tone?

The Jazz has a very usable single coil tone. It's bright, clear and surprisingly deep. It'll remind you of a Strat or maybe more, a good Tele neck pickup...but it won't sound exactly like either. Lew

Cool. I was afraid that when split, the Jazz would be thin and tinny sounding.

FWIW, I also agree completely. I find Strats to be a bit thin, and this is a nice way to get that single coil sound with some added richness.
