jazz + Stag Mag a good match?

Hello, just wondering if you think the jazz + Stag Mag would make a good match as far as balanced pups go? The goal is to have the stag mag in the bridge for twang surf guitar and Jerry Garcia tones, and the jazz in the neck for Wes Montgomery chord action and warm deep blues rippage. When the pups are blended together would one overpower the other?

The SM will be very bright in the bridge. I love that pickup in the neck, as I like bright neck sounds, but it's an icepick at the bridge. The JB would be better in general, and still splits pretty well.

I agree with Jester. The SM is an outstanding neck pup . . . so-so bridge pup.
