Jb + 59 or 59b?

Hi,
I have recently put in a Jb in my mahogany/maple neck Through guitar. Really great, inspiring sound! Now I thought about combining it with a 59 in the neck to get a nice clean sound, but I'm also wanting to get a smooth hi-gain sound with it, without having to turn the gain up - cause with the high output Jb, I dont need that much gain. Also I have doubts if the tamed 59 will be as loud as the Jb. Now, do you think I'll be satisfied with the 59 neck version or should i better get the bridge version instead?

If you set the heights correctly, there shouldn't be any volume drop out issues. The strings are vibrating much more over the neck pickup, so neck pickups don't need to be as loud.

The '59 in the neck position can easily keep up with higher output pickups than the JB. You will definitely have no problems with it matching up, as you can simply adjust the neck pickup height until it is exactly the same volume.
