Say, in a SG. Or in my Ibanez SZ, which has a maple top.
It's punchy and clear sounding. Really cuts through.
But of course it's not Strat bright. It's different.
How should a JB-8 perform in it? I can't figure out yet how the JB8's EQ curve is, compared to the stock JB.
And the stock JB was a bit too middy in this SZ, too.
Should it be any better with the A8 magnet?
