JB + A2 = ?

Short and sweet this time. What would I get if I swapped the A5 magnet on my JB for A2? Is there a Duncan model that does this? Do you think it'd be too middy (the overwound coil coupled with a magnet that tends to emphasize mids)? I'm basically looking to add a little A2 air to the tone but keep the aggressiveness.

You trade-off nasal midrange for more midrange honk and you lose a bit of output. Single notes are more bold with an enhanced thickness over the stock JB.

You lose the singing qualities of the JB... harmonics are subdued in favor of the fundamental with the A2. Pretty different feel and sound with an A2 swap.

I currently have a JB2 in my down tuned dropped B guitar. The A2 magnet lends a little more weight to the detuned strings and blends insanely well with a Seth Lover in the neck. The middle position is really nice.

I like the UOA5 in the JB.
