JB Custom Hybrid Idea

All this hybrid I'm hearing about over here got me curious... what if I combined my 2 favorite pickups of all time?!

Has anyone done this? What's the base bar magnet that you guys used?

It's the bomb. I just finished working on my Strat with it. I first used an A5 and now it has an RC A8.

I also combined some favorites in the neck, Antiquity and Seth with A3, and put another of my favorites in the middle, A5 Phat Cat.

Was thinking of making one. In fact I still may. First though, I'd be curious as to how it differs from both the JB and the Custom.

It combines the good traits of each. Better bass from the Custom with the crunch of the JB.
