I'm gonna be swappin out some pu's in my EBMM here pretty soon, replace the jb with a JB trembucker, and the stock two dimarzios with duncans. I already have the duckbucker, and was planning on getting a little 59 neck, but I've got a hot rails neck on hand and REALLY don't have the money to buy a lil 59 right now. So...is this a good combo? Just wondering if its worth my time to experement.

Peace
Dan

Re: JB+duckbucker+hotrails?

sure why not? you already have the hot rails and as long as its a neck version you might like it. youll have some volume drop when you switch to the duck but i set all my guitars that way

Re: JB+duckbucker+hotrails?

my newest strat build has a tremspaced JB bridge and a hot rail neck. it works great for me....simple as that. i can't say anything about the duck though, never used one.

I can't remember specifically what it was that I didn't like, but when I was modding LesStrat, the duck' just didn't cut it. I traded it for a CR. I do have the HR in the neck, and it works great!

I say, put them in and see what you think. In other words, "GO FOR IT!"
