The HR will be hotter, thicker, and a bit looser in the lows. The JB Jr will still be hot, but will be more open in the midrange and will even twang a bit on clean settings. if you play nothing but balls to the wall distortion all the time, I'd go with the Hot Rails. If you need something with more versatility, the Jb Jr is hard to beat. :burnout:
