Hello everyone,
I rewired my Strat yesterday and am running into some issues. I created this schematic, which should allow for normal Strat wiring, with the following features:
Series wiring option for the neck and middle pickups controlled by push/pull
Tone control for the neck + middle
Tone control for the bridge
Coil split for the bridge humbucker (JB Jr) controlled by push/pull
Everything works except for the following:
1: The tone knob for the neck and middle doesn’t do anything in any position; I'm stuck with just the bridge tone controls.
2: The coil split doesn’t seem to work, and the pickup appears to be permanently in the split coil mode, judging by the low output and hum.
My soldering skills are a bit lackluster, but everything looks fine except for a somewhat messy ground on the volume pot. However, I don't see why that would cause these specific issues.
Could there be something wrong with my schematic? I am a bit stuck on this one, I redid the joints for the coil split and still no luck. Also ignore where the leads are coming out of the humbucker in the schematic, I did it true to the wire color.
